The town walls
Moated fortifications have survived all around the inner town. In the present form, with 4 preserved prismatic bastions, they come from the 15th and 16th centuries, built on the older foundations. 3 medieval town gates (of Bavorov, Pisek, Tyn) and one modern one (New) were demolished in about 1840
